The party was a lot of fun in deed. I Kinda got Susy out to dance. but not really, haha. Then Marriella was like, "Call your mom out" so I did. Then she told me to call out a relative but someway or another I didn't =/
Then after the ballroom and cumbias and all that fun merengue stuff played, they put on some more hip hop. By that time it was 11:20ish and the only people left were us kiddos...the people on court and a few others to total up no more than 20ish people. I ended up just dancing the hip hop with this one lil Filipino girl named Stefanie. Twas fun, oh and I was messing around with a ton of people cuz somehow they pulled a chair out onto the dance floor, haha.
Yeah, that was after our organized dance which was also a ton of fun. We ended up doing a good job in deed. The Tango and Swing turned out really good, and I didn't get that stupid white tux dirty =P (Success!!)
As the night progressed there were special dances both before and after the Cotillion De Honour (our dances). Allison's relatives or friends or soemthing did something. First were 2 girls tap dancing, Her brother sang for her, this little kid sang some Frankie Vallie and something else for her...man he was good, crazy hip action too. Uhm...oh, Kyle and Thomas played her a happy birthday song, but it was just a recounting of all that had happened at practice throughout the month or two that we were learning the dances.
So yeah, it was relatively awesome, most enjoyable indeed. I got more comfortable dancing around people I realized...and I got more comfortable around Stefanie. Cool girl, wonder if I'll ever talk to her again, haha...how sad but true...hope I keep in touch with those guys now that it's over...
Oh yes...before I forget to mention because somehow I didn't blog this: I graduated! haha...yup, 06/19/07---done.
